Hi,

I’m Illya Reznykov, and it’s my blog about things that are related to development, architecting, cloud, various kind of DevOps techniques and discrete mathematics.

I am mathematician, Ph.D., interested in theory of automata. Personally and in collaboration with colleagues I published more than 20 scientific papers about Mealy automata and semigroup growth. The most interesting of them may be found at arxiv.org.

I have programmed since 1994 and worked primarily with Microsoft technology stack. I spent many years working in the Enterprise Resource Planning software development, where I started as junior developer and became a chief of computer technology department.

Years later, I have experience in cloud development, cloud architecting, application migration and modernization, implementing DevOps and testing processes, project management and supporting various applications from small desktop and web utilities up to full-fledged cloud SaaS systems.

Hobbies: sports (swimming, running, fighting); photographing; floristic; cynology; cars.
